Abstract

This study will compare student learning results on protist content utilising the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model with the assignment learning model through Google Classroom in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. This study's sample was drawn at random. The research method employed is quasi- experimental research. The study's instrument was an objective exam that consisted of 30 multiple-choice questions with a total of 5 options. Pre-test and post-test research data were acquired. The data were evaluated using the independent sample t test, which yielded a result (2-tailed) of 0.00 where the value (2-tailed) was 0.05, indicating that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The experimental class had an 84.03% success rate, whereas the control class had a 71.98% success rate. As a result, it can be inferred that the Jigsaw via Google Classroom has an influence on student learning outcomes in class.
