ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS DAN KREATIF MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI PADA PEMBELAJARAN DARING MATA KULIAH MIKROBIOLOGI

This study aims to determine students' critical and creative thinking skills in microbiology courses at the Biology Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Medan. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study was all students of the PSPB 2019 regular class, Universitas Negeri Medan. The samples were 70 students who were taken by random sampling. Data collection techniques for students' critical and creative thinking skills using essay tests and interviews via Whatsapp and Gmail. The results of this study indicate that biology education students' critical and creative thinking skills in microbiology courses have moderate criteria with a value of 59.78 for critical thinking skills and 57.97 for creative thinking skills.
