Abstract

Orchid habitats are threatened all over the world. By the end of 2020 nearly 1,700 orchid species had entered the Global Red List (Hilmiah, et al). Morphological characteristics of orchids are needed for the preservation of orchid germplasm in Indonesia (Novitasari). This study aims to determine the types of terrestrial orchids in the Forest of Bukum Village. This study uses an exploratory method. The orchids found were identified and their morphology observed from root to fruit. Then proceed with observing its habitat. Types of orchids found 15 species of them. 7 species of which have pseudobulbs while others do not. The terrestrial orchid habitat in the Forest of Bukum Village has an average air humidity of 72.8%, an ambient temperature of 25.640C, a soil temperature of 220C and a soil pH of 6.2 with a sandy loam soil type.
