This study examined the effect of corn extract (Zea mays) and coconut water (Cocos nucifera) on the height of granola potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) plantlets in vitro. This study was conducted in July – October 2024 at the G10 Agro Tech Medan Tissue Culture Laboratory. In this study, potato plants were grown on MS (Murashige and Skoog) media combined with corn extract and coconut water using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) research design, with four treatments and three replications each with concentrations consisting of 4 levels, namely corn extract 0 g/L, 25 g/L, 50 g/L, 75 g/L and coconut water namely 0 ml/L, 50 ml/L, 100 ml/L, 150 ml/L. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and DMRT at the 5% level. The results showed that the addition of corn extract and coconut water significantly increased the height of potato plantlets. The best plantlet height was produced by the combination of J2A3 (50 g/L corn extract + 150 ml/L coconut water), which was 19.70 ± 1.25 cm. Therefore, it can be concluded that the organic medium of corn extract and coconut water can be used as an alternative medium because it has a very significant effect on the growth of granola potato height in vitro.
