This study aims to identify and test the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model with Padlet on students' learning outcomes and collaboration skills in cell division, as well as to examine the relationship between collaboration and learning outcomes. The study used a pretest–posttest control group design with a quasi-experimental approach and total sampling technique. Subjects consisted of 42 eleventh-grade students divided into an experimental class (Jigsaw with Padlet) and a control class (Jigsaw without Padlet). The instruments included a learning outcome test, observations of collaboration, a Padlet utilization questionnaire, and interviews. Prerequisite tests used the Shapiro–Wilk and Levene tests, while hypotheses were tested using the independent-sample t-test (cooperation), the Mann–Whitney test (learning outcomes), and the Spearman correlation (cooperation–learning outcomes). The results showed that students' collaboration skills in the experimental class were significantly higher than in the control class (p = 0.027). The average posttest score increased in both classes, but the difference in learning outcomes was not significant (p = 0.207), and the correlation between cooperation and learning outcomes was very weak (ρ = –0.036; p = 0.823). Thus, the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by Padlet effectively improved cooperation skills, but did not significantly impact cognitive learning outcomes.
