Abstract

The era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 marks a new phase in the development of education, where collaboration between humans and technology becomes the primary key in the learning process. In the context of physiology education, this transformation presents opportunities and challenges to create a learning system that is more adaptive, interactive, and oriented toward individual needs. The integration of technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and digital-based learning platforms enables students to understand complex physiological concepts through realistic simulations and visualizations. This approach not only enhances conceptual understanding, but also strengthens students' analytical and experimental skills. On the other hand, the role of educators shifts from being the primary source of information to becoming facilitators and guides in the technology-based learning process. Thus, the transformation of physiology learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 demands a synergy between technological innovation, adaptive pedagogy, and digital literacy in order to produce a generation of scientists and educators who are competent, critical, and globally competitive.
