GEOSITE SILAHISABUNGAN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR PADA MATERI KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI

This research aims to determine the types of Spermatophyta plants in Pulo Silalahi, Silahisabungan Geosite, as well as developing and evaluating a Booklet on the diversity of Spermatophyta plant types as a learning resource on Biodiversity material according to material experts, learning design experts, and graphic design experts, as well as knowing the teacher's response biology and class The booklet was developed using a 4D development model. The identification results showed that there were 57 species from 34 families of Spermatophyta plants at the Silahisabungan Geosite. Very good validation results from material experts, learning design experts, and graphic design experts, with percentages of 83.82%, 93%, and 94% respectively. Positive responses from teachers (97%) and students, with trials showing results of 97.2% (individual), 92.8% (small group), and 94.7% (large group). The effectiveness of the booklet which was declared suitable was tested on 30 students. The resulting N-Gain score is 0.72 in the high category. The t-test results show that this difference is statistically significant, with a calculated t- value of 7.157 and a P result of 0.00 (P < 0.05). The research results show that the Spermatophyta Diversity Booklet developed can significantly increase students' understanding of biodiversity and support an effective teaching and learning process.
