DESKRIPSI KEMAMPUAN SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS (STEM) MASA PANDEMI COVID – 19 SMPSIT JABAL NOOR MEDAN

Abstrak

The number of problems caused by the environment during the covid-19 pandemic. This is why a description of the students' STEM abilities is needed so that teachers know the mastery of technological attitudes, engineering, and students' mathematical abilities in solving problems of daily life. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection method used was the STEM ability test instrument. The research design used was a non-experimental design. This research was conducted in May 2022. Sampling was carried out by random sampling with a total population of 58 people. The results showed that the science abilities of class VII students were in the "high" category, the technological abilities of class VII students were in the "very high" category, the engineering abilities of class VII students were in the "medium" category, and the mathematical abilities of class VII students were VII is in the “low” category.
