PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATERI SISTEM PERTAHANAN TUBUH KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 8 MEDAN T.P 2022/2023

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes Material on Body Defense Systems Class XI SMA Negeri 8 Medan TP 2022/2023. In addition, this study also aims to determine the implementation of the process of implementing the Problem Based Learning model in learning. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control design. The sample used in this study was 60 people, consisting of an experimental class and a control class. Class XI MIA 3 with 30 students is the experimental class and class XI MIA 5 with 30 students is the control class. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering test instruments and observation sheets on the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in learning. From the results of the study, the average learning outcomes in the experimental class were 38 in the pretest and 79.2 in the posttest, while in the control class the average learning outcomes in the pretest were 36.3 and 55.5 in the posttest. The implementation of the Problem Based Learning model in learning obtained a percentage of 89% with category completely implement. Data analysis in this study used tests for normality, homogeneity and the Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS 25 software. From the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained. Testing this hypothesis shows that the problem based learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes in the body's defense system material for class XI SMA Negeri 8 Medan TP 2022/2023.
