Abstrak

Language development and speech skills are crucial aspects of social interaction. Children with speech delays experience challenges in achieving these developmental milestones, impacting their social interaction skills. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to speech delays and their impact on social interaction in early childhood. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a phenomenological approach through literature review. The results indicate that factors contributing to speech delays include a lack of parental role models guiding children in speaking, a lack of motivation for children to speak, and difficulties in developing social interactions.
