PENGARUH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN VIDEO ANIMASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI SISTEM REPRODUKSI MANUSIA

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in the human reproductive system material. This study is a Quasi Experimental research type with a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all grade IX of SMP Negeri 3 Medan which consists of 11 classes. Sampling in the study used a purposive sampling technique. Class IX-7 as the experimental class using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by video media and Class IX-9 as the control class using the problem based learning model without video assistance. Data collection was carried out using tests and observations. The instrument used was a multiple-choice learning outcome test of 20 questions, which had been validated. The results of the study showed that the average pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental class were 38.83 and 78, respectively, and in the control class were 37.16 and 67.67. Hypothesis testing using a one-tailed t-test shows that t_(count)> t_(table)4.610> 1.671. Based on the hypothesis test, it was found that there was an influence of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes in the human reproductive system material at SMP Negeri 8 Medan.
