Abstrak

This literature review examines the urgency and implementation of the concept of biodiversity in early childhood learning. Amidst the challenges of the global environmental crisis, instilling environmental awareness and values from an early age is fundamental. Biodiversity, as a concept rich in sensory exploration and discovery, aligns closely with the concrete and experiential learning characteristics of early childhood. This study aims to examine the concept of biodiversity in early childhood learning. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review. The results show that biodiversity learning not only supports cognitive development but also hones affective sensitivity, psychomotor skills, and forms the foundation of environmentally conscious character in children.
