This study aims to analyze the relationship between genetic color blindness and its impact on the sufferer's social skills, as well as to describe the experiences, challenges, and adaptation strategies used in social and academic life. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method using a case study design through participant observation and in-depth interviews with an individual with red-green color blindness. This study emphasizes the importance of social support and increasing public understanding of color blindness as a form of visual diversity, as well as the need for early detection and support facilities to enable sufferers to participate optimally in various aspects of life. The results show that color blindness affects the sufferer's visual activities, particularly in distinguishing colors in activities such as selecting clothing and jobs that require color accuracy. Social support from family and the surrounding environment helps the sufferer adapt well. Adaptation strategies include the use of color detection technology and assistance from others.
