This study aimed to determine the diversity, abundance, and dominance of spiders on guava plants (Psidium guajava L.) in Tanjung Anom Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency. The study was conducted from June to August 2025 using a census method, which involves recording all spiders found on sample plants. Sample plants were selected using purposive sampling. Specimen identification was performed at the Biology Laboratory of Medan State University. To determine the level of diversity, the data were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H'), while the Simpson index (C) was used to determine the level of dominance. The results of the study showed 15 spider species belonging to seven families, with a moderate diversity index (H' = 2.68). The spider species with the highest abundance were Cheiracanthium mildei and Hasarius adansoni (8.52%), followed by Plexipus petersi and Uloborus plumipes (8.07%). Dominance analysis showed that there were no dominant species on guava plants (C = 0.071). Overall, it can be concluded that spider diversity in the guava ecosystem is relatively stable and serves as an indicator of relatively well-maintained environmental conditions.
