Walking delays in early childhood is an important issue in motor development that can hinder physical independence and affect cognitive as well as social-emotional aspects. The contributing factors include genetics, unsupportive environments, and nutritional deficiencies such as iron which plays a role in muscle growth. This study aims to analyze walking delays from the perspective of motor development, namely identifying the main causes, as well as short-term and long-term impacts. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach such as literature review from various scientific sources, including international journals and previous research articles relevant to the topic of walking delays in early childhood. The results of the analysis indicate that walking delays are often caused by a lack of early motor stimulation, impaired body coordination, and parenting patterns that are less active in supporting children's physical activity. The conclusion of this study affirms the importance of early detection through developmental monitoring and the implementation of structured motor stimulation programs to minimize negative impacts on the growth and development of early childhood.
