EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN KOMBINASI EKSTRAK DAUN KELOR (Moringa oleifera L.) DAN NAA (Naftalene Acetic Acid) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKSPLAN KENTANG MERAH (Solanum tubersum L.) SECARA IN VITRO

The availability of quality potato seeds is one of the obstacles to increasing potato production in Indonesia. One of the efforts to increase the availability of quality seeds is by tissue culture. In tissue culture, growth regulators are needed to help increase the growth of explants, in this study the GR used is Moringa Leaf Extract (MLE) and NAA. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the combination of MLE and NAA on the growth of red potato explants in vitro. The research was conducted at the G10 Tissue Culture Laboratory of Agrotek Medan from January to March 2024. This study used the Factorial Complete Random Design (CRD) method with 2 factors, the first factor of Moringa Leaf Extract with 4 levels, namely: K0: (Control), K1: 10 mg/L, K2: 20 mg/L, and K3: 30 mg/L, the second factor of NAA with 3 levels, namely: N0: control, N1: 0.5 mg/L, N2: 1.0 mg/L. The observation data was analyzed using the analysis of variance (ANAVA) using the SPSS program and continued with the Duncan multiple range test (DMRT). The results showed that MLE concentrations of 20 mg/L and 30 mg/L produced the highest amounts in the parameters of plantlet height, number of leaves and number of shoots. The combination administration of MLE 20 mg/L and NAA 1.0 mg/L resulted in the highest number of roots of the other parameters.
